About Us

Our experienced team creates calm, comfortable visits, taking the time to respond with patience and care to each animal’s individual needs.

Our Story

Tsolum Veterinary Hospital has been part of the Comox Valley for many years, caring for the families and pets who call this place home. What began as a small practice, has now grown into a homelike clinic next door, with a spacious yard, garden and a welcoming team.

From the beginning, we’ve imagined our clinic as a place for connection, where we care for you and your pets at every step. We’ve shared in the joy, worry, and love that come with caring for animals who are family. Being part of those moments is a responsibility we hold with care, one that keeps us present, personal, and deeply connected to the community we serve.

Nurturing Community

Supporting our community is part of who we are at Tsolum. As a locally owned vet clinic, we’re shaped by the connection and care of the people and pets we serve, and believe in giving back in meaningful ways.

This shows up in our support of Island Kids Cancer Association and Comox Valley Transition Society, the creation of Martha’s Love Fund for local pets and families in need, rescues like CR Paws, and partnerships with other local businesses.

Carrying hope forward

Martha’s Love Fund was created to carry forward the compassion of one special dog. By supporting pets and their families through unexpected illness or costly care, this initiative helps more animals get the help and second chances they deserve.
